White Horse Facilities
White Horse recording is housed within a
Beautiful 1997 Two-story home in rural Kentucky. The
studio was designed into the home upon construction, and consists of 460sq. ft. of studio
space including sound room. We have already received
several comments on how comfortable the environment is since
opening the new facility in July of 1997.
Recording Equipment
Primarily
recording to a custom built computer system via our Tascam fully
automated digital mixing console with flying faders, White Horse equipment
also includes Multiple tracks
of ADAT XT digital recording, 48 channel, 8-buss mixing console, AT 4033 Studio
Mics, AKG C-3000 Studio mic, Marshall Mics, full midi capabilities
running from Cakewalk's Professional Sonar software, and various
other effect processors, mics, recorders, and audio enhancement gear.
Keyboards
include the Yamaha S80 (88 weighted keys and over 500 realistic instrument and
piano sounds) and Alesis QS-8 (88 weighted keys and 1100 +, realistic instrument sounds and
pianos).
Percussion includes Boss 550 and 650 Drum machines, Hart Digital
drums utilizing the Alesis DM-5 Drum module, miscellaneous
percussion and access to acoustic drums where preferred.
Other
Instruments include Takamine's Sante Fe special edition acoustic
guitar, GL Fender Bass, Fender Srat, Line 6 POD, Washburn banjo and
Fender mandolin among others.
